Distant & Digital will discuss the transformation of law and intellectual property

On February 7-8, 2022, the Digital Business Space in Moscow will host the international educational conference Distant & Digital. The key theme of the event is the transformation of law, intellectual property, creative industries and the digital economy. The Skolkovo Foundation is an official partner of Distant & Digital.

The conference program includes four thematic areas: "Create", "Manage", "Protect" and LegalTech (a series of partner sessions and master classes). Skolkovo residents Online Patent, Beorg, Nopaper, Moscow Digital School will also present their master classes.

At the plenary session on February 7, experts will discuss the rights of the consumer of an intellectual product. Among the speakers: Anton Ivanov, Academic Supervisor of the Faculty of Law, National Research University Higher School of Economics, Lidia Mikheeva, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Fedotov, Director of the International Research and Education Center "UNESCO Chair on Copyright, Related, Cultural and Information Rights" NRU HSE. The plenary session on February 8 is dedicated to the issues of data and their protection. Among the speakers: Mikhail Yakushev, Deputy Director of the HSE Institute of Digital Law, Yuri Donnikov, Director of the Legal and Compliance Department of HeadHunter, Andrey Krichevsky, Chairman of the Committee on Intellectual Property and Creative Industries of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. Ekaterina Kulagina, Deputy Executive Director of TASS. Moderator: Maxim Proksh, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board at the Skolkovo Foundation on intellectual property issues, Chairman of the Board of the IPChain Association.

A large-scale agenda is in store for the Skolkovo Intellectual Property Center at Distant & Digital. In addition to lectures on various aspects of law with the participation of IP Center experts, a cooperation agreement will also be signed between the Skolkovo Intellectual Property Center and the National Technology Transfer Association.

In just two days, more than 50 sessions and master classes will take place with over 200 leading Russian and foreign experts in the fields of IP and LegalTech will take part in them.
